Zerberos Finca Aragon Fino 2019

Tasting: From Sierra de Gredos natural wine maestro Daniel V. Ramos, a self-described ‘Span-Aussie’ (born in Australia to Spanish parents, then grew up in Madrid). Aragon Fino is a rare grape variety thought to be, or at least related to Morenillo, a grape variety currently seeing recovery in in Terra Alta, Catalunya. Daniel’s version is from high altitude dry-grown organic vineyards in the Gredos mountains outside of Madrid. Light bodied, hit has an aromatic nose of lilac blossom, blue and red berries. A silky palate redolent of blueberries and violets rounds out this delicious wine, minimal sulphur is used for bottling only and the wine is un-fined and unfiltered.
