Tasting: The Asturian Ciders from 'El Gaitero' are famous throughout Spain. This traditionally-made dry cider is known as a 'Champagne' cider because it is bottle-fermented and topped with a champagne cork! They use traditional varieties of apples from Asturias to create a light clear straw-yellow cider with abundant fine bubbles. The aroma is fragrant, of apples and peach, and the taste is crisp  and dry with a long finish.
