 ​Based in the subregion of Mount Barker, Trevelen Farm was originally an extensive farming operation. In 1993 owners John and Katie Sprigg planted vines, and in 2008 they passed on the meat, wool and grain producing side of the farm to their Son Ben and his wife Louise to concentrate on their 6.5 hectares of vines. The wines are the result of a passion for growing quality fruit with immaculate vineyard practices. Winemaking has been handled by one of the region’s most respected winemakers, James Kellie of Harewood estate since 2004. 17 vintages on their wines communicate their values of the highest quality fruit, with James’ intelligent and thoughtful winemaking.
