Tasting: 

100% Garnacha this is the only wine that sees any barrel in the whole line up, not that you would really notice this though. With 14 months in used Tronçais the wine still ends up being super lovely - smooth, soft and delicate. Reporting no mouse this vintage, if you care about that too!
Most of Roger's entire production comes from about 3 hectares of vines he planted in 2009 making 2014 his first vintage. The soils in the region are composed mostly of clay loam and in certain areas there's a calcareous rock layer called tapas giving the wine chalky texture and minerality. All of his vineyards are farmed organically and treated with biodynamic preparations following the lunar calendar. Also, he doesn't even own a de-stemmer, so everything is done whole bunches with a lot of pigéage by foot (we'll send you videos if you'd like to see).
