Since its inception in 1883 Bodega Trapiche has received worldwide recognition for innovation. The winery pioneered practices such as introducing French varieties to Argentina, French oak barrels, and the production of micro-terroir wines. With 130 years of wine making experience, they have become the most widely awarded and internationally recognised winery in Argentina. Unusually for a winery with vineyards as extensive as Trapiche, they practice biodynamics throughout their estates, the winery itself is surrounded by olive trees, fertilizers are organic plant and animal based, from a farm owned and operated by Trapiche.
