A nose of red and black fruits, cloves, cedar and black peppercorn, leading to a sumptuous muscular palate of condensed ripe raspberry, black plums, woody spices, wonderfully bright acidity considering its age and brash grippy tannin, both elements suggesting that this wine has decades left to be enjoyed
