Bruma del Estrecho Parcela Mandiles 2020

Tasting: The Bruma del Estrecho de Marín series of wines by Viña Elena is special project, highlighting the differences in the varying plots of Monastrell and how the different terroirs produce distinctly different wines despite being made from the same grape variety. Parcela Mandiles is the pinnacle of this project, from a dry-grown plot of 65-year-old vines with exceptionally deep roots. A fragrant nose of aromatic lilac, liquorice and black fruit leads to a upper-medium bodied palate of cassis, inky dark cherry, liquorice, herbs and balsamic notes.
